Evolution of Old Glory

Every legal U.S. flag flown in our history, from the 13-star flag of 1777 to the 49-star flag of 1959. By law a star is added on the 4th of July after a new state joins the Union, and no U.S. flag ever becomes obsolete: each one may still be flown today.

  • Sewn outdoor nylon with appliqued star field and sewn stripes
  • 3' x 5' in stock; 4' x 6' and 5' x 8' made to order (allow up to two weeks)
  • Each flag lists its years in use and the states that changed its star count
