Product Description
20-Star U.S. Flag (1818-1819) from Eder Flag's Evolution of Old Glory collection.
The 20-star flag was the official flag of the United States from 1818 to 1819. Its star field changed to 20 stars with the admission of Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee. By law, a star is added to the U.S. flag on the 4th of July following the admission of a state.
No U.S. flag ever becomes obsolete: each historical flag is still a legal flag and may be flown at any time.
