Product Description
29-Star U.S. Flag (1847-1848) from Eder Flag's Evolution of Old Glory collection.
The 29-star flag was the official flag of the United States from 1847 to 1848. Its star field changed to 29 stars with the admission of Iowa. By law, a star is added to the U.S. flag on the 4th of July following the admission of a state.
No U.S. flag ever becomes obsolete: each historical flag is still a legal flag and may be flown at any time.
