Product Description
48-Star U.S. Flag (1912-1959) from Eder Flag's Evolution of Old Glory collection.
The 48-star flag was the official flag of the United States from 1912 to 1959. Its star field changed to 48 stars with the admission of Arizona and New Mexico. By law, a star is added to the U.S. flag on the 4th of July following the admission of a state.
No U.S. flag ever becomes obsolete: each historical flag is still a legal flag and may be flown at any time.
