NSM Series: external single revolving truck with yardarm and rope halyards
A nautical single mast flagpole adds a yardarm, or crossarm, to a traditional aluminum flagpole, so you can fly up to three flags from one pole: one at the top of the mast and one at each end of the yardarm. It brings the look of a ship's mast to coastal and lake homes, marinas, yacht clubs, waterfront businesses, schools and any site that needs to fly several flags. Concord American builds the NSM Series in 27 models from 25 ft to 80 ft, and an optional gaff can be added for an even more traditional look.
How Flags Are Flown on a Single Mast Nautical Pole
By tradition the U.S. flag flies at the top of the mast. State, club, company or signal flags fly from the two yardarm halyards. How to Choose
- Height. 25 to 30 ft suits waterfront homes, lake houses and small marinas. 35 to 40 ft fits yacht clubs, community entrances and commercial properties. 50 ft and taller is for marinas, resorts, harbors and municipal sites seen from a distance.
- Butt diameter and wall thickness. At each height, a larger base and a thicker wall make a stiffer, stronger pole. Choose the heavier model for open waterfronts and high-wind areas.
- One-piece or multi-section. Poles with more than one section ship in shorter pieces, which makes delivery easier to residential and limited-access sites.
- Finish. Satin (brushed aluminum), or bronze tone, black, white or clear powder coat. White is the traditional look of a ship's mast.

Models with 10" and 12" butts are upgraded to a heavy-duty truck with dual sealed bearings, 3/8" #12 halyards, heavy-duty flagsnaps, a 5/8" ball stem and a cast aluminum flash collar.
Options
- Cast aluminum sealed-bearing gold powder-coated ball and truck (8", 10" and 12" butts)
- Cast aluminum FC-11 flash collar in place of the standard spun collar
