IRC Series: internal reinforced with cam cleat, rope halyard
The Sentry II Series from Concord American Flagpole is a commercial-grade internal halyard flagpole for projects that need security and a clean look. The rope halyard runs inside the pole and locks behind a flush-mount access door on a cam cleat, so the flag cannot be lowered or stolen without a key, and there is no rope slapping against the pole. An inset aluminum door frame welded into the door opening adds strength and gives each size a higher wind rating. Sentry II poles are a popular choice for schools, government and municipal buildings, offices, churches and any site where theft or vandalism is a concern.

How to Choose a Sentry II Flagpole
- Height and flag size. A 20 ft pole flies a 4' x 6' flag, 25 ft a 5' x 8', 30 to 35 ft a 6' x 10', and 40 ft an 8' x 12'.
- Butt diameter and wall thickness. At each height, a larger base and a thicker wall (.188" or .250") make a stiffer pole with a higher wind rating. In open or high-wind areas, choose the higher rating.
- One-piece or two-piece. Two-piece poles (model numbers ending in 2) ship in two sections, which makes delivery easier to limited-access sites.
- Finish. Satin is brushed natural aluminum. Clear anodized adds a hard protective coating, dark bronze and black anodized give a durable darker color, and powder coat is available in bronze tone, black, white or clear. See other available flagpole colors.
