Flagpole Colors
Choose the finish that fits your building, your brand and your budget. Every Concord American aluminum flagpole we sell and install is available in three families of finishes: Satin, Powder Coat and Anodized. Concord American Flagpole calls itself the industry's unsurpassed leader in finish options, and the choices below are why. Not sure which one is right for you? Call 210-310-3524 and we'll help.
Satin Finish (Standard)
SATSatin Aluminum
Standard finish
Concord American aluminum flagpoles are made from Aluminum Alloy 6063, a marine-grade alloy with extremely high resistance to corrosion. When aluminum meets air, it forms a protective layer of aluminum oxide that naturally guards against corrosion, so the pole can be left unfinished and still look good for a lifetime.
The Satin Aluminum finish is produced in a multi-pass, mechanical rotary sanding operation using specially formulated abrasives. The result is a consistent, brushed-aluminum look that has become the industry's first choice for a low-maintenance, long-lasting flagpole finish.
Powder Coat Finishes
Concord American powder coats on site, using state-of-the-art equipment and the highest quality polyester thermoset powders. Powder coat bonds to the pole as a thick, even finish and is a popular choice when you want a pole to match a building, a sign or a brand color.

Anodized Finishes
ACLClear Anodized
ADBDark Bronze Anodized
ABLBlack Anodized
Concord American offers standard anodized flagpole finishes in Clear, Dark Bronze and Black. Anodizing is an electrochemical process that builds the color into the aluminum's surface rather than coating it. Concord's exacting manufacturing specifications enhance the anodizing process for the best color and longevity in a colored anodized finish. Anodized bronze and black are a classic choice for commercial and government buildings with dark storefronts or window frames.

Which Finish Should I Choose?
- Satin (SAT): the classic brushed aluminum look and the lowest-maintenance option. A great all-around choice for homes and businesses.
- Powder coat (BZT, BLK, CLR, WHT or a custom RAL color): best when you want a solid color, such as a bronze or black pole to match trim, a white pole for a clean look, or an exact brand color.
- Anodized (ACL, ADB, ABL): a hard, built-in finish with a metallic depth, often specified for commercial and architectural projects.
How to Order Your Finish
On our Concord American flagpole product pages, simply choose your finish from the options. The finish code also appears at the end of the part number. For example, a part number ending in -ADB is Dark Bronze Anodized and one ending in -WHT is White powder coat. Matching flagpole parts and accessories such as trucks, cleats and finials are also offered in coordinating finishes.
