How to Choose a Feather Flag
- Shape: teardrop flags show a full logo even in light wind; razor, blade and sabre flags are taller and narrower for vertical text; rectangle flags give the most room for words and phone numbers.
- Single or double-sided: single-sided flags show a mirror image on the back. Double-sided flags read correctly from both directions, which matters along a road.
- Base: use a ground spike in soil or grass, a scissor or cross base on pavement and indoor floors, and add a water ballast on windy days. A vehicle base holds the flag under a tire.
- Line: Premium and Streamline are built for everyday outdoor use; Value is the lower-cost choice for indoor use and short promotions.

What is the difference between a feather flag and a sail sign?
Nothing. Feather flag, sail sign, swooper flag and blade flag all describe the same tall printed flag on a flexible pole.
How do I send my artwork?
Upload it on the product page, or email it to sales@ameritexflags.com after you order. Vector files (AI, EPS, PDF or SVG) work best. We email a digital proof, and nothing prints until you approve it.
Is there a setup charge?
Yes, a one-time $20 setup charge per design is added to your cart automatically.
Can I just replace a worn flag?
Yes. Choose "Flag Only (Replacement)" to get a new printed flag that fits your existing hardware in the same line and size.
Do you offer quantity pricing?
Yes: 3% off 3 to 5 flags, 6% off 6 to 11 and 9% off 12 to 24. For 25 or more, call 877-598-3524 for a quote.
