Xtreme External Single Revolving – Rope Halyard
The Xtreme Series XESR from Concord American Flagpole is a high wind external halyard flagpole, built with the increased wind ratings needed for coastal, high-wind, oversized-flag and multiple-flag applications. The heavy-wall aluminum shaft is paired with Concord's heaviest-duty hardware: a cast aluminum single revolving truck with dual sealed bearings and a stainless steel spindle, a heavy-duty 3/8" polyester rope halyard, heavy-duty stainless steel swivel flagsnaps, a 9" cast aluminum cleat and a cast aluminum flash collar. The revolving truck lets the flag turn freely with the wind, which reduces wear on the flag and the halyard. This 50 ft model has a 10" butt diameter and .250" wall, is rated for winds up to 140 mph with a nylon flag, and flies a 10 ft x 15 ft flag. This height is built for large commercial sites, highway-visible businesses, stadiums and government buildings.

Choosing the Right 50 ft Model
Concord American offers 2 Xtreme XESR models at 50 ft. They differ in base (butt) diameter, wall thickness and number of sections. A larger base and thicker wall give a higher wind rating:
- XESR50F13 (this model): 10" butt, .250" wall, 3 sections, 140 mph with flag, about 498 lb
- XESR50F23: 12" butt, .250" wall, 3 sections, 179 mph with flag, about 585 lb
Multi-section poles ship in shorter pieces, which makes delivery easier to residential and limited-access sites. For open areas and coastal or high-wind locations, choose the higher wind rating.

The recommended flag size for the XESR50F13 is 10' x 15'.
How is it installed?
The pole sets 5 ft into a concrete foundation using the included galvanized steel ground sleeve, for a total length of 55 ft. A shoe base for surface mounting is available as an option.
How does it ship?
The XESR50F13 ships by truck freight in 3 sections, with an approximate shipping weight of 498 lb. A $500 freight deposit is charged at checkout and applied to the actual freight cost.

The rope halyard runs on the outside of the pole and ties off on the 9" cast aluminum cleat at the base. For added security, a locking cleat cover box, with or without a 5 ft halyard cover, is available as an option.
Why choose an Xtreme high wind flagpole?
Xtreme poles have heavier walls and heavier-duty hardware than standard commercial poles, which gives them the higher wind ratings needed near the coast, in open high-wind areas and for oversized or multiple flags.
Is there a warranty?
Concord American backs its aluminum flagpole shafts with a lifetime flagpole shaft warranty, subject to Concord American's warranty terms.
Do you install flagpoles?
Yes. Ameritex Flag & Flagpole installs flagpoles in San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country and across Texas. Call 877-598-3524 for an installation quote.
