The Clear Anodized Heavy-Duty Aluminum Flagpole Ball from Concord American Flagpole is a patented, industry-exclusive flagpole ball built to stand up to constant pole vibration, wind and weather on commercial and residential flagpoles.
Standard flagpole balls often fail early from pole vibration, which means costly replacement and labor. Concord American's patented heavy-duty construction is designed to prevent those failures.
Key Features & Benefits:
- Patented Design (Concord American Patent #7334535): A thick-wall aluminum inner spacer tube strengthens the assembly and keeps the two spun aluminum spheres properly compressed.
- Extra-Wide Lip on Spherical Halves: Keeps the upper half from sliding down over the bottom half, a common failure point in ordinary flagpole balls.
- Secure Stainless Steel Bolt & High-Strength Adhesive: Locks the spacer rod at the ball tip, with no rivets or internal nuts to work loose.
- Plated Steel Jamb Nut: Secures the ball permanently to the flagpole truck assembly.
- 4" to 8" balls: Machined 3/4" diameter 6063 aluminum stem, secured with a stainless steel threaded rod and high-strength adhesive.
- 10" and 12" balls: Solid 5/8" stainless steel threaded rod for maximum strength.
- Sizes & Rod Threads: 4", 5", 6" and 8" balls have a 1/2"-13NC rod (BAL-0412-ACL, BAL-0512-ACL, BAL-0612-ACL, BAL-0812-ACL). 10" and 12" balls have a 5/8"-11NC rod (BAL-1058-ACL, BAL-1258-ACL). Choose a ball diameter that matches your flagpole's butt (base) diameter.
- Clear Anodized Finish: A bright, natural silver aluminum look sealed by anodizing for long-lasting protection against weather and oxidation. A classic match for satin and clear anodized aluminum flagpoles.
Also available in gold anodized, powder coated, satin finish, and as an extra-large 18" or 24" ball.
